How to choose which level of soft in your mattress:
Soft (Plush) and Euro Top (Extra Plush)
These mattresses allow your body to sink in more. They are great for side sleepers because they cushion pressure points like the shoulders and hips. However, if you're a heavier person or sleep on your stomach, a soft mattress might not offer enough support and could lead to poor spinal alignment.
Medium to Medium-Firm
These are the most versatile and often suit a wide range of sleepers. They provide a balance between comfort and support, which makes them ideal for back sleepers or people who change positions during the night. They support the natural curve of your spine while still offering enough softness to reduce pressure.
Firm to Extra Firm
A firm mattress will have a lot less cushion and foam on top, to provide more support for proper spinal alignment. This option is ideal for sleepers who have back pain. A firm mattress has higher surface tension, meaning it pushes back more evenly against the body’s weight. This creates a “floating” sensation where the body stays on top of the mattress rather than sinking into it.
